Do Malaysians want to eat more healthy foods?
A couple of famous salad selling restaurants have stopped selling my favourites (Chinese Chicken salad @ Coffee Bean and also Secret Recipe), due to lack of demand. This makes me so sad.
It indicates a refusal to accept that salad is a healthy, refreshing meal that’s especially desirable in the heat of an afternoon. Who wants all the ‘goreng’ foods that are laden with fat and too heavy on the stomach in 40 degree heat!?
Do YOU eat salads? Would you eat foods prepared with Olive Oil or olive Spread as oppose to palm oil? Do you want to look after your heart and fight all the evil foods designed to make us addicted with their MSG, SUGAR & SALT? Do you BELIEVE all the ads for fast food that claim their foods are healthy and balanced? And cereals too? BECAUSE IT’S ALL LIES!

personally, i dont think malaysians even think about the practise of healthy eating..
even the banning of fast food commercial is a big issue that still lingers in the air..
we need to educate malaysians to understand the adverse effect of rummaging on unhealthy foods..
start at nurseries,where toddlers are exposed to mindful healthy eating..
lets hope things will work out.
